Christoph Flügge

Judge Christoph Flügge studied law in Berlin and Bonn, Germany. He started his career as a public prosecutor in Berlin, worked in the prison administration and as a criminal judge in Berlin. From 2001 until 2007, he was State Secretary for the justice system of the Land Berlin. From 2008 until 2017, he was Permanent Judge of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia in The Hague, and from 2012 until 2019, he further served as Judge of the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals.
